Welcome to the website of actress and presenter Isabella Blake Thomas!

Isabella has been working in TV and Film since she was 4 years old. She is an accomplished performer used to taking direction, being flexible and able to work hard and maintain concentration over long periods. She always forms excellent relationships with other cast members and crew and is praised for being a very positive member of the team. Even though still young she has enough experience to be given flexibility to deliver lines in her own style and to interpret the context and meaning of scripts.

“We picked Isabella to present ‘Green Balloon Club’ as she was an outstandingly bright and charming 5-year-old. Over the 2 years we worked with her (on 63 programmes) she has grown into an accomplished presenter – as well as a singer and dancer. She is extremely hard working, resilient and intelligent and has a very good grasp of the entire production process. She asks intelligent questions and is genuinely interested in what is going on around her.

She has been an amazing Lily-Rose for us and children across the UK have taken her to their hearts – as have we.”

Clare Bradley, Producer: The Green Balloon Club, CBeebies, BBC Television

“Isabella played an iconic role in our series of Just William. She was extremely professional in the way she learnt her lines and was always prepared for what she was expected to do. She had to cope with a fair amount – having buckets of cold water tipped over her and being submerged in a full-scale bog, for example! All the crew became very fond of her. I trust she gets the praise she deserves for a terrific performance.”

John Champman, Producer: Just Willian, BBC1, BBC Television

“I had the pleasure to work with Isabella for 6 weeks on the movie “The Tamed Ones”. As a director I expect a very high standard and Isabella exceeded all of those expectations. She gave me more fun, more emotion, more precision than any actors I have ever worked with.

Isabella always arrived on set prepared and she was very aware of how to behave on set. She worked hard and was able to conjure up any emotion necessary for her part. This consisted of crying and creating emotional scenes well behuond her years. She was also able to remind the crew and myself about some continuity facts that we had forgotten.

But one of the most importatnt issues was the simplicity of her and her mother, both so friendly. Isabella made us laugh so many times.

Some of our scenes were shot very late in the evening in the cold and Isabella had to still perform under these conditions. She never complained and always gave more than expected.

I am so proud in recommending Isabella for any role. She was always happy on set and worked hard. She would be a credit to any film team. Believe me, she is perfect for any type of character.”
